Outstanding food! The burgers are delicious. My pork chop and mashed potatoes were great. Even the to go food lasts. What a great little family stop. I can't wait to introduce more family and friends to Top Notch Beefburgers.

I don't know how but I think it gets better every time. I'm just getting over food poisoning and this was my first real adventure since then and man am I glad we went tonight. I can guarantee you'll feel better after eating a burger and one of their amazing shakes

Me and my mother got food poisoning from the cheese burger and French fries. The burger tasted old I only had three bits of it . The fries were refried nasty. The only thing was good was the root beer float . It’s very hard to mess up a root beer float . Just nasty and wrong

Great place for a good breakfast or a great burger. I've been coming to top notch since I was young and will continue to eat there. The fries are as good as ever. The burgers are juicy and topped with delicious melted cheese. Omelettes are made as you like them. If your adventurous, try an Oreo milkshake. Go ahead, enjoy!

I eat in this lovely spot quite often! This is the best place to dine. I visit this spot frequently. The cooking is fantastic, the team is welcoming and the cost is reasonable. I enjoy going in this place over a rich dinner.

Hands down, one of the best burger places in Chicago. If I had to compare my experiences and tastebuds, due to asking for extra grilled onions, I would say the deluxe burger reminded me of a giant white castle burger; very delicious, will be back.

Used to love this place, years ago they made fresh turkey burgers, now its a frozen patty. And it taste like it. Not fresh, not good. But, Fast friendly service.

Was better back in the day. They didn't have chili. They got the order wrong. It's these little things that push people to chain places.

My 1st time, my husband had been here before with our daughter. Turkey burger was good, cooked perfect. It had a weird taste, maybe it was seasoning they used. Wish they had real milkshake glasses instead of cheap plastic cups. I will definitely return.

This place has SO MANY 5 star reviews, and yes, they’re all warranted. I’m visiting my lady loves old neighborhood, and she insisted we try this local favorite. I could tell right away that I was in for a treat. The place was lively and the clientele was diverse, which is always a good sign.Our thirst was never an issue as we were greeted with two ice waters the instant we sat down. We both ordered 1/4 pound burgers with extra pickles. The burgers were hot and juicy, and the mountains of pickles next to them were sky high. I really enjoyed the patty of raw onion on my burger, while my lady love savored the fried onions she chose. I’ve only been here once, but it seems like the type of place where everything on the menu is great. If you are an out-of-towner, like me, you have to try this place, if only because it’s full of locals. Top notch for sure.

I ordered a Double Bacon Cheeseburger plain, no bun, No Fries... (I'm on Keto) $16.58 while my partner ordered only a 16 oz vanilla shake... The bill less any tip came to $22.08 The Cheeseburger was just ok... Nothing special, just average... Definitely not worth $16.58 I could have gone to Mariano's and purchased a one pound Ribeye Steak which is $16 a pound this week and they would have grilled it their on the spot for Free... Never Again... Luve & Learn

Hi kids!! It's me again, well I was just sitting around when my sweetheart of a brother called and said, " come go somewhere with me!". So my sweetheart of a brother took me to Top Notch! Just as the name states, this place is Top notch. Friendly service and delicious food. Sure the burgers are great, but they have much more to offer. A legend on the South Side of Chicago.

This is a sweet little diner style burger place. Has a lot of neighborhood charm, and the staff is courteous and delightful. Our food was hot, and the burger was good. Nothing spectacular, but definitely a solid, homestyle burger. We also ordered strawberry shakes which were good as well, though they are made from what tastes like a strawberry syrup and not fresh strawberries or strawberry icecream. All is all it is worth the trip into the area and a great little homey spot on the outskirts of the city.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the burger that I ordered yesterday. I spent $15 for a double cheeseburger with fries. I picked up the Order & I got home it was just one huge burger patty not expected when ordering a double cheeseburger. It had lettuce tomato cheese the raw onions weren’t fresh a large order of fries $15. The beef taste like it had a lot of filler. I don’t think I am I’ll go back. I had order to go as I was shopping next door at SOUTH TOWN HEALTH FOODS.

I have been told time and time again that this place is more than worth the visit. Entering the establishment I could see how nicely maintained it is. Service was quick and courteous. The pricing for the food is definitely cheap for the quality and content. I ordered the 1/2 cheeseburger with fries. The burger was beautiful and every bite was the best bite of burger I ever had. The fries look to be made in house fresh every day and the patty quality was perfect. This place really lives up to the remarks it receives and I would definitely recommend that if you are in the area you come here, heck even if you're 2 hours away you come here. I can not wait to return and try a different item on the menu.

Kudos to Top Notch Beefburgers for preparing savory food during the covid 19 shelter in place. When we arrived we were greeted with a menu and smile near our car. The service was excellent, the burgers were exceptional as usual, the sweet potato fries are still the best I've ever had, and the pork belly bites are over the top delicious. We wanted to support a local business at this time and we're glad we choose Top Notch Beefburgers.

First, i was immediately greeted as i walked in. I had a burger craving and yelp pointed me here and i was not disappointed. They offer plenty of burgers that you custom make! I got the Savage burger and it was delicious from first bite! The 'small' fries could easily pass as a large at any fast food place. Very warm and friendly environment. The manager even came to check on me and ask how the food was. I'm not from Chicago but i def recommend this place to those visiting

The best Milkshake I have ever had!! My family and I are visiting from out of town and this was a great place for lunch. I had a corned beef melt and chocolate shake. AMAZING milkshake. My dad got the strawberry and that was also amazing. Super thick and very good flavors.

The service was good they hamburgers were good but when I got ready to take a order home on their chicken nuggets the Nuggets was spoiled and the service was no good I've already called the health department about the chicken nuggets. need to improve their chicken nuggets they should not be serving spoiled of frozen chicken nuggets if the nuggets are no good do not serve them to the customer if you're not going to eat it

One of those local favorites in the Beverly neighborhood. I got sent here to pick up some shakes for me and my coworkers. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. Even flavors like chocolate and vanilla were all delicious. I personally got the root beer shake that was amazing. As for the service, everyone here was friendly and got my order in quickly.

As usual, very satisfied. Had the burger this time, without the bread (lettuce wrap). I liked it and you can never go wrong with the FRESH French fries.

When I went to pickup they had to take the bun off because that’s how I ordered it and then I proceeded to witness the guy take apart the burger with his bare hands. Then they lied to me and said he did have gloves on when I heard the guy say “Man, you need to put gloves on.” In the midst of Covid, and this seriously happened? Really disappointed in one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants.

Classic, thin and tasty beef burgers in a diner setting. Fast service, fast food. Eat at the counter and pay up front.

I happened to be in the chicago area and Top Notch was at the top of my list..the burgers are awsome....the fries are good but not as plentiful as before and when you get a waitress u better get everything you want becuz u wont see her again until you are putting on your coat to leave and she brings you the check....The lady that seated us tho, her english comprehension was not very good. She didnt know what a straw was....i had to do a skit over my drink before she knew what i needed...i am just thankful she didnt have to take our order..😱😅

I prefer this restaurant a lot. there is a friendly air. The meals are splendid. the service is effective and the team is trained. The pay is decent. very much recommend.

Hands down, one of the best places for burgers in the city! If you are looking for fast friendly service in an unpretentious family-friendly setting, this is the place. Great burgers, fries and other fare at very reasonable prices. They have been in the Beverly neighborhood for years and for good reason. Being such a popular spot, it gets pretty busy on weekends, so a good thing they have ample seating and orders to go.

Their milkshakes and burgers are the best. Great neighborhood restaurant. Very family friendly.
